Memory Cafe and Upcoming Dementia Awareness Training

The Memory Café is a safe and social gathering space for your loved ones, family members, caregivers or friends touched by dementia.  Join us for coffee or tea in a warm and welcoming environment.  No speaker, no agenda, no program – just an opportunity to meet people, build friendships, and embrace the journey together.  This is a free, non-denominational event. All are welcome!

  • First Lutheran Church (7102, 14th Ave SW), 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month, 1-3pm
  • Good Earth (430 – 555, Strathcona Blvd SW) Monday evenings, 5 – 7pm


Rundle College Dementia Friendly Communities Partnership Showcase: This event will offer free dementia awareness training, a chance to see the intergenerational work being carried out within the project and enjoy a beverage at the Memory Café!

  • Tuesday April 17th   2018, 4-5:30pm at Rundle College (Conklin School Auxiliary Gym, 7375, 17th Ave SW)


Free dementia awareness training is available to all volunteers at the Signal Hill library on Wednesday April 25th, 6:30 – 8pm. To register visit: or call: 403 260 2620 (Signal Hill Library).
