West Calgary Ring Road Information Sessions: Sept 11, 12 & 29

Sep 7th, 2018 | By | Category: City News, Post to Facebook

In July 2018, the Alberta Government announced funding for the West Calgary Ring Road (WCRR). This is the last section of construction work needed to complete the Calgary Ring Road, which will provide more than 100 km of free-flow travel around the city once complete.

Construction will start in 2019 and be completed in three parts:

  • the north project (between Highway 1 and Old Banff Coach Road)
  • the south project (between Old Banff Coach Road and Highway 8)
  • twinning the bridge over the Bow River

Alberta Transportation is holding three public information sessions to answer questions about the project and explain strategies to minimize impacts for adjacent residents. The information sessions are drop-in (come anytime, there is no presentation) and the same information will be available at each session so you can attend whichever time and location is most convenient.
