Alberta Night: featuring:

Amelie Patterson Trio: Hailing from Banff, Alberta, and serving as the town’s first Poet Laureate, Amelie Patterson leads as a strong ambassador for women songwriters. The clear-voiced, honest and tenacious troubadour’s music traverses territories from blues to folk rock. Her debut album Roll Honey Roll was released at Canadian Music Week, and went on to win YYC Alternative Recording of The Year in 2017. Patterson then took to the road touring across Canada hitting stages at Calgary Folk Music Festival and The Banff Centre for Creative Arts as well as smaller venues across western Canada.

Scott Cook & The Second Chances: A roots balladeer with a rare personal warmth, Scott Cook has distilled the stories collected over a decade of near-incessant touring into straight-talking, keenly observant verse. Joining Scott are Bramwell Park on banjo, mandolin, guitar and harmony vocals and Melissa Walker on upright bass and harmonies. Cook is one of the hardest-working troubadours on the road today, and he believes that songs can change your life, and your life can change the world. “One of Canada’s most inspiring and imaginative storytellers”, UK magazine.

The Travelling Mabels: Voted ACMA 2011 “Group Of The Year”, ‘The Mabels’ are a folk/ country female trio full of spirit, spunk and laughter. Collectively, their songs bring a wealth of life experience to the stage. Singulary, each woman can vocally stand alone, but once you hear the combined harmony blend, you will know why these three women came together. Their musical influences range from Dolly Parton, The Eagles, Bob Dylan to Cheryl Crow, and their comedic, yet often heart-felt, take on life means they more than meet a wide range of audience expectations whenever they perform.
