Upcoming Construction in Sarcee Trail Right-of-way

As part of upcoming LRT expansion work, Water Services will be conducting work on a large diameter water pipe near your home.  This pipe is located in the Sarcee Trail Right of Way east of your home (see map on reverse). The City of Calgary will be moving large equipment and materials through your community to access the excavation site.  This work is expected to begin on January 16, 2010 and last between two and three weeks. 

Service interruptions

Your water service is not expected to be interrupted due to this work.

Safety

We will take every precaution to work safely in your community. We need your help by ensuring children and pets are kept at a safe distance from our work site and heavy machinery.

Work hours

Water Services work crews may begin construction work early in the morning. This will allow us to expedite this project and minimize impact to nearby residents.
