Road closures and lane restrictions

May 12th, 2010

On Wednesday, May 12, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., eastbound 17 Avenue S.W. will be reduced to two lanes between Simcoe Boulevard and Sirocco Drive. This lane reduction is necessary to accommodate survey work.

From 7 a.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2010, to 5 p.m., Monday, May 17, 2010, northbound 69 Street S.W. will be reduced to one lane between Springborough Boulevard and 17 Avenue S.W. This lane reduction is necessary to accommodate utility relocations.

From 9 a.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2010, to Friday, May 14, 2010, the ramp from southbound Crowchild Trail to westbound Bow Trail will be realigned. Traffic is expected to be slower through this area while the realignment is taking place. Once the work is complete, the new alignment will be in place until July 2010. This work is necessary to establish an area to construct a new retaining wall and new laneway for the off-ramp.
