Membership

Membership revenues help the SCA to function.  All of the events that the SCA provides or oversees — many free of charge — are funded partially through membership revenue.

Family membership fees were formerly $35, but we have REDUCED the annual fee to only $5 per family to encourage as many residents as possible to enjoy the benefits of community membership.

Buying or renewing your community membership not only keeps the SCA running, it also gives you valuable benefits, including:

• Summer access to the tennis courts in Strathcona and Christie
• Winter access to the SCA ice rink and skating pond
• Ability to register with many sports organizations that require community memberships
• Satisfaction of supporting and belonging to our great community
• Ability to add classifieds to The Gazette and onto this website
• Preferred rates on registrations for SCA driven programs
• Email updates and information about upcoming events, road closures etc. from the municipal and provincial governments (optional)

If your community membership is not current, we encourage you to update your membership today.  Renewing your membership is fast and convenient, and takes about two minutes online, via PayPal.  The current rate to become a SCA member is only $5.00 per family per year.
