The Strathcona Community Centre, originally christened Strathcona Park place more then twenty years ago

The Strathcona Community Centre was originally concieved in 1980, when the Founders of Strathcona and the developers came together to discuss how best to bring a sense of community to the new area of Strathcona. 

Through the years, the community center has served its patrons by providing a safe place to host events, meet with friends, and share the joys of our lives together. 

It has been through a series of renovations, expansions, and other historical events since its opening twenty years ago, and has now entered a state of grace and charm unparalled by any facility within SW Calgary.  Says Gail Shandro, President of SCA,

Our grand old lady is… look[ing] beautiful again!
