Recycling tip: Snow and recyclables don’t mix!

Calgary weather can bring lots of snow throughout the winter. Remember to clear the snow off your blue cart lid and keep the lid closed before putting your recycling out for pickup.   Why? Good Food Box 2019

Attached is an updated schedule for the Good Food Box program which supports healthy eating for ALL, within our community. First Lutheran Church is a DEPOT and an access point for this program. The 2019 program runs January – June (no orders July or Aug.) Ordering resumes January 14.



Caution: Wildlife in Strathcona

A bobcat was spotted in a backyard and along the street on Stratton Cres on November 26. Sadly, a dog was killed by a coyote in Strathcona around the same time. Please be aware of your surroundings and be cautious with pets and children.

Bow Trail Widening Project – Notification of Pathway Closure
