Cooking Camp

Two different themes for your kids to explore fun with food this summer. Aimed for children ages 6+ these aren’t your typical kiddie class. Cooking from scratch will have your child witnessing the science of food, health benefits of various foods and building the confidence to prepare recipes.

COST: All camps $450/week + GST. No need to pack a lunch!

Farm to Fork  – July 9-13 (9am to 4pm)

Kids will learn about urban agriculture, exploring how food grows and how to cook nutritious meals from seasonal food. Kids will learn about quick pickles and cook tasty recipes from local produce. They will also learn about using and growing sprouts by creating their own sprout master. At the end of the camp, kids will leave with all the recipes that they cooked and their sprout master.

Culinary Masters  – August 20-24 (9am to 4pm)

Do you have a budding Culinary Master? If your child has a desire to get creative in the kitchen and is already familiar with basic cooking skills, let them discover their inner foodie with this camp! Campers will use mystery basket ingredients to create their own recipe and learn how to prepare nutritious dishes with unique ingredients.
