Bow Valley Music Club

The SCA Community Association and the Bow Valley Music Club (BVMC) have a long established relationship dating back to 1998 when the BVMC started using the SCA Community Centre as the venue for their live music concerts. The BVMC was established in 1992 and since has become one of Calgary’s largest community-based live music presenting organizations.

The BVMC provides a 10-concert season on Saturday evenings at the SCA Community Centre. The concert season runs from September to May with concerts occurring approximately every 3 weeks (with an extended break over Christmas). Over the years the club has presented many artists including both long established artists such as Ian Tyson and Murray McLauchlan along with up and coming artists.

Aside from great live musical performances, the BVMC provides its patrons with a social atmosphere and many of the members have established lasting friendships that have originated at the shows. Many of the BVMC season ticket members live within the SCA community.

So if you are looking for a Saturday evening out, in a relaxed community setting, where people listen to and enjoy live musical performances, then check out the BVMC website for more information: www.bowvalleymusicclub.org.
