About Us

For over 40 years, the SCA Community Association has been a place where neighbours connect, belong, and build lasting memories. We’re proud to support the neighbourhoods of Strathcona, Christie, and Aspen through programs, events, and resources that reflect our community’s needs. Guided by a vision of a vibrant, healthy, and caring neighbourhood, our mission is to enhance local life by welcoming residents, visitors, and volunteers into a space where connection comes first.

The SCA Community Association is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the community. Together, they set the strategic direction and support the day-to-day operations that help our neighbourhood thrive.

  • The Board meets publicly on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at the SCA Community Centre. Community members are welcome to attend.
