From our Roots – November 28 – 3:30pm

Free! November 28 at 3:30, for you and your child (age 7-11) to attend together.

From our Roots, We Rise: An invitation to connect to your emotions and with each other through movement.

When I was young, my emotions felt too big. I didn't know what to do with them so I pushed everything down, or released them in big explosions of energy. Perhaps you've also noticed that for yourself or for your child? During my time as an educator, I've learned healthy and relational ways that have helped me. I'd like to share these with you and your child in a free class. We will practice feeling, expressing and regulating emotions together through movement, breath, and play, and we will use music, games, and reflection to integrate these strategies. Led by Amanda, BEd, educator and learner.

Yin to Gentle Flow Yoga – November 7 – 1:30pm

The class will begin with some yin style longer held poses to awaken the body and invite flexibility.  We will slowly build into a gentle flow (Hatha) style class to invigorate you for the day.  To close the practice, we will rest in savasana allowing this new place of ease & balance to integrate into the body and mind.  This class is suitable for all levels.
