Engineering for Kids

Engineering for Kids brings STEM education to kids ages 4 to 14 in a FUN and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs and parties.


Aerospace Engineering: Up, Up and Away! Ages 7-11, $189

Wednesdays 6:15-7:45pm (April 5, 12, 19, 26 May 3, 10)

Students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test and refine a variety of flying machines.  They will construct a lunar vehicle to protect our astronauts, as well as create their own high flying rocket, Airplane, blimp and more!


Crazy Concoctions: Jr. Chemical Engineers! Ages 4-6, $135

Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 pm (April 5, 12, 19, 26 May 3, 10)

The Junior Chemical program introduces our youngest engineers to fundamental concepts of solids, liquids, and solutions.  Students investigate the properties of several crazy concoctions and make their own samples of bubbles, play dough, flub, Secret Ink and more.



Invader Defense – Alien Invasion! Video Game Design  Ages 7-14, $189

Wednesday 6:15-7:45 pm (May 17, 24, 31 June 7, 14, 21)

Get ready to defend our Planet from an Alien Invasion!  Kids will build and take home a complete video game.  Let’s get started time is ticking.



Thinking Green: Jr. Environmental Engineering! Ages 4-6, $135

Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm (May 17, 24, 31 June 7, 14, 21)

Are you ready to get down and dirty searching for solutions to some of our biggest environmental problems?

Students in this class save endangered animals, help plants grow and create protection from the sun’s heat. By investigating natural process like erosion, animal adaptations and plant growth; we discover ways that we as engineers can be inspired by the beautiful world around us.
