The Schedule
10am-11am (Yoga)
To start the day, Anne (see bios below) will guide you through a Gentle Yoga practice that will mindfully move your body in a way that will help strengthen bones, tone muscles and increase overall body awareness. Modifications are made for limited mobility and special attention is paid to ensure a comfortable and safe practice for everyone. At the end enjoy listening to Anne’s beautiful voice as she shares a song that leaves you feeling grounded and refreshed.
11am-12pm (Meditation)
Bridgette will guide everyone through a beautiful practice called Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, a guided meditation done lying down. Before you begin, she will help you release any lingering tension in your body so you are comfortable. This is a deeply restful practice that will help calm your nervous system and bring you back home to yourself. It is open to all levels of experience and options are available for those not comfortable lying on the ground.
12pm-1pm (Lunch)
A vibrant and healthy lunch is served buffet style, designed to cater to various tastes and dietary needs. We will share the experience of enjoying a beautiful meal together, sparking conversations and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options available, everyone can enjoy the feast, and we kindly ask that you inform us of any specific dietary restrictions so we can accommodate all preferences.
1pm-2pm (Stress Management)
Jody specializes in reducing stress and how it impacts every part of the body and mind, leading to issues like anxiety, headaches, digestive problems, sleep disturbances, and even conditions like heart disease. Through movement, breathing, and stillness, you’ll learn simple techniques to regulate your nervous system and create more ease in daily life. This session offers an accessible, grounded approach to stress management that you can integrate immediately into your daily life.
