SitFit + Yoga

A full body workout that combines weights and resistance training within the mindfulness of yoga. Ideal for anyone who needs the comfort and/or safety of seated exercise (standing is optional).

Offered in-person in the Main Hall and online through Zoom.

Equipment needed – yoga mat, bender ball (medium ball), small ball, resistance band, dumbbells.

Registered for 10 weeks for $80.00 Drop-in is available for $10 per class.

Sherry has been teaching at SCA for 8 years and is a highly trained yoga teacher with certifications in yoga therapy, restorative yoga and pelvic floor health. Throughout the class, she will accommodate all sensitivities (arthritis, injuries etc.) so that participants feel supported and comfortable. Emphasis is placed on moving at one’s own pace, maintaining good posture, and listening to our bodies. All classes are designed to be accessible and fun for everyone!
