RENTER’S CLEANING CHECKLIST
All building users must always comply with the City of Calgary noise bylaws. Any disruptive noise, including but not limited to music and guests, after 10pm must measure fewer than 50 decibels. Violation will result in the loss of the damage deposit.
Full damage deposit will be taken if any bodily fluids are found by caretaking staff and/or failure to fulfill the requirements below.
YOU WILL:
- Ensure your guests do not enter any room that is not listed on your contract
- Deposit all garbage (properly bagged) in outside bins
- Place empties in bags and leave in foyer (or take them if you like)
- Wipe everything clean (eg. Tables and counter tops)
- Garbage on floors and tables cleared
- Spills on floors mopped
- Remove all decorations – everything that is brought in must be taken out
- Catering equipment and supplies removed from building
- Leave the key in the door slot
- Lock the main door
- Check front planters for cigarette butts and no garbage left out front
BATHROOMS:
- All paper towels placed in garbage
- Toilets flushed
KITCHEN:
- All food removed from fridge and freezer
- Dishes cleaned and returned to cupboard
- All surfaces cleaned
- Garbage removed
- DO NOT LEAVE PADLOCK ON FRIDGE DOOR
- KITCHEN MUST BE SPOTLESS
WE WILL:
- Mop floors
- Put away tables and chairs
TO AVOID PAYING YOUR DAMAGE DEPOSIT, PLEASE LEAVE THE FACILITY AS YOU FOUND IT!
